Pre-Thanksgiving Food Pr0n – Chocolate Fudge Pecan Pie

On request, I made some chocolate fudge pecan pies.
Normally, there are two ways that a pecan pie can be made into a chocolate pecan pie:
One way is to put chocolate chips in the bottom of the crust
before you put pecans on top and pour the filling in.
The other way is to add cocoa (or chocolate) to the filling when you prepare it.

This is what happens when you do both:

Of course, the best part of making these pies is “quality control testing“.
When serving, vanilla ice cream is REQUIRED.

and you might also need a cup of coffee or a tall glass of milk.

Deep Dish Pizza – Food Pr0n – Gluten Free

The pizza on the right was an experiment I did for a friend who requested a Gluten-free crust.
It is a spinach and garlic deep dish that came out surprisingly well.

The pizza on the right is a traditional all sausage / half pepperoni, which was also exceptional.

Minneola Tangelos Are Back


This Minneola came all the way from Australia, where apparently they now grow citrus fruits.
If you haven’t tried one, its like an orange, only AWESOMER.
